India AI Voice Agent Pricing Index (October 2026).

Among the bundled rupee rates we checked, Ringg lists ₹6 per connected minute and Tabbly lists ₹5.10 to ₹6.80 per minute; VAAMI lists ₹1.99 per minute for AI usage, with telephony billed separately. These numbers measure different scopes, so they are not directly comparable. This index records what eight vendors publish, what five do not, and what each says is included. It is vendor-listed pricing, not a quote.

The index

What does each vendor publicly list?

Prices appear in the vendor's own currency, exactly as listed. Rows marked “No public price” mean the vendor's pricing page lists no rate; we have not estimated one. Confidence reflects how clearly the page stated the figure, not whether the price is competitive.

VAAMI is a participant in this market, and its row is drawn from its own pricing page. It is shown for reference and is subject to the same rules as every other row. Vendors change prices without notice; always confirm on the vendor's page before you buy.

Methodology

How was this index compiled?

Collection. On 1 October 2026, VAAMI opened each vendor's public pricing page and recorded the figures, inclusions and billing terms stated there. The vendors reviewed are those we encounter most often in India buying conversations, plus the global developer platforms that Indian teams commonly evaluate. The list is a convenience sample, not a census of the market.

Inclusion rule. A price appears only if it was read from the vendor's own page. If the page lists no rate, the vendor appears with no number. We do not use reseller listings, review sites, forum posts or sales conversations.

Currency. Prices are shown in the vendor's listed currency and are not converted. Comparing a dollar rate with a rupee rate requires an exchange rate, and the rate you actually pay depends on your bank, the vendor's invoicing currency and taxes.

What is excluded. Volume discounts negotiated off-page, enterprise contracts, promotional credits, taxes, and any feature quality such as accuracy, latency or language coverage. A price table says nothing about how well an agent performs.

Confidence. “High” means the page stated the figure plainly. “Medium” means the page is complex (several plans, component pricing or variable ranges), so a reader should check the source for the plan that applies to them.

Corrections. If a figure is out of date or wrong, send the row and a link to the public page showing the correct figure through VAAMI support. We update the row and its verified date. The data lives in a single typed file so that each quarterly refresh changes only the figures and dates.

Hidden-cost checklist

How do you read a per-minute price without being misled?

Two prices that look similar can describe different products. Before comparing, put the same seven questions to each vendor. The table above shows where each vendor's page answers them and where it stays silent.

01

Is telephony in the number?

Some vendors bundle carrier minutes into the rate; others bill AI usage and carrier minutes separately, or let you bring your own carrier. A low headline rate with separate telephony can cost more than a higher bundled rate, and the reverse is also true.

02

Are the LLM, TTS and ASR pass-through?

Developer platforms often list a hosting fee and then pass through the language model, voice and transcription at the provider's rate. Your final per-minute figure depends on which models you select, so the headline number is a floor, not a forecast.

03

How is a call rounded?

Billing can be per second, in 30-second pulses, or rounded up to the full minute. Short calls such as confirmations and reminders are the most exposed to rounding because most of their duration is under a minute.

04

Is there a minimum commitment?

Look for minimum monthly minutes, annual contracts, platform fees and prepaid credit minimums. A committed-usage rate is only cheaper if you actually reach the minimum.

05

What are the concurrency limits?

Concurrency is how many calls can run at once. Outbound campaigns that need to finish within a window can hit limits, and extra concurrency may be a paid add-on.

06

What counts as a billable minute?

Some vendors bill connected minutes only; others bill from dial. Ask whether ringing time, voicemail, transfers and failed connections are billable, and whether transfer time carries a different rate.

07

What is billed on top?

Phone numbers, analytics add-ons, knowledge-base storage, compliance add-ons, taxes and exchange-rate variation can all sit outside the per-minute figure.

Worked example

How much can billing rounding change a monthly bill?

This is hypothetical arithmetic, not any vendor's quote. Assume a rate of ₹6 per minute (a round number chosen for easy maths) and 12,000 short calls in a month, each lasting 47 seconds, such as order confirmations or payment reminders.

Billing modelBillable minutesMonthly cost at ₹6/min
Per second12,000 × 47s = 5,64,000s = 9,400 min₹56,400
Rounded up to the full minute12,000 calls × 1 min = 12,000 min₹72,000

The difference is ₹15,600 per month, or about 27.7% more under minute rounding, for identical call behaviour. Under 30-second pulses a 47-second call also bills as 60 seconds, so the result matches the minute-rounded row in this example. Rounding matters less for long calls and more for short ones. See per-second billing for the definition, and the cost calculator to run your own volumes.

Limitations of this index

  • Listed prices are what vendors publish on one date. Negotiated prices differ.
  • Rates for different products are not like-for-like; a bundled rate and a hosting-only rate are different things.
  • Page content was read on 1 October 2026. A vendor may have changed its page since, and some pages show several plans.
  • The index covers price only. It does not measure accuracy, latency, language support or compliance posture.
  • VAAMI publishes this index and sells in this market. We apply the same inclusion rule to every vendor, and invite corrections.
FAQ

Questions about the pricing index.

What is the India AI Voice Agent Pricing Index?

It is a dated table of the per-minute prices that AI voice agent vendors publish on their own pricing pages, with what each vendor says is included, how it bills, and a source link. VAAMI compiles it from public pages only. It is not a quote from any vendor.

Why do some vendors show no price?

A vendor appears with no number when its public pricing page directs visitors to a sales conversation and lists no per-minute rate. We do not estimate or infer prices for those vendors.

Why are some prices in dollars and others in rupees?

Each price is shown in the currency the vendor lists. We do not convert, because exchange rates move and vendors may bill in different currencies than they display. Convert at your own bank's rate when comparing.

Is the cheapest per-minute price the cheapest total cost?

Not necessarily. Per-minute prices can include or exclude telephony, the language model, text-to-speech and speech recognition. Billing rounding and concurrency limits also change the final bill. The hidden-cost checklist on this page lists the questions to ask before comparing.

How often is the index updated?

The index is reviewed quarterly, and each row shows the date it was last verified. This edition was compiled on 1 October 2026. Vendors change prices without notice, so confirm on the vendor's page before buying.

How can a vendor request a correction?

Contact VAAMI through the support page with the row, the correct figure and a link to the public page that shows it. We update the row and its verified date. Corrections from vendors and readers are handled the same way.
