Vaami
Research

Voice AI research for India.

VAAMI publishes research on AI voice agents in India built only from public, checkable sources: vendors' own pricing pages, TRAI, the Census of India and NASSCOM. Every number has a source and a date, and we publish no figure we cannot trace. Each report states its method and its limits, and tells you where VAAMI is a party to the subject.

Policy

How does VAAMI keep research honest?

  • Traceable figures. A number appears only with a named source, a year and a link. If we cannot find a primary or reputable source, we leave the figure out rather than estimate it.
  • Vendor-listed means vendor-listed. Pricing tables record what a vendor publishes on its own page, in its own currency. They are not quotes and not a ranking.
  • Disclosed interest. VAAMI sells a product in this market. Our own row follows the same rules as the others, and opinion is labelled as opinion.
  • Dated and corrected. Each figure carries a verified date. To correct or add a source, write to us through support.

Using the reports

Which report answers which question?

If you are choosing a vendor and need to know what a minute of AI calling is quoted at, start with the pricing index. It shows the price each vendor lists, the currency it lists it in, what the vendor says is included, and how calls are rounded for billing. Use its hidden-cost checklist to ask each vendor the same seven questions, then run your own call volumes through the cost calculator.

If you are planning a calling programme in India and need context on reach, languages and rules, start with the market report. It gathers subscriber, language and regulatory figures in one table with sources, then separates analysis and opinion from data so you can see which is which. For the legal detail behind the rules it mentions, see our compliance hub.

Neither report is a recommendation to buy from any vendor, including VAAMI. Both are starting points for your own diligence, and both say where their data runs out.

FAQ

Questions about VAAMI research.

What does VAAMI research publish?

VAAMI publishes reports built from public sources: a dated pricing index of what AI voice agent vendors list on their own pricing pages, and a sourced synthesis of Indian telecom, language and regulatory data relevant to voice AI calling.

Where do the numbers come from?

From named public sources: vendor pricing pages, TRAI, the Census of India, NASSCOM and government press releases. Each figure on a report page carries its source, year and link. We do not publish figures we cannot trace.

Is VAAMI a neutral publisher?

No. VAAMI sells an AI voice agent, and each report says so. We apply the same inclusion rule to every vendor, mark our own row as ours, and publish limitations on each page. Corrections are welcome through support.

Can I cite these reports?

Yes, with attribution to VAAMI and the report name and date. Please link to the page rather than copying tables, because figures are refreshed and each carries a verified date.

I have production data. Can I contribute?

If you run voice AI in production and can share aggregated, non-identifying data, contact us through the support page. We would publish it only with your consent, with the method stated and the source named as you prefer.

Want the numbers applied to your calls?

Bring your volume, languages and call length and we will work through the cost and compliance questions with you.
